Veteran Samraj “Rikki Jai” Jaimungal dethroned 2010 winner Ravi Bissambhar (Ravi B) to take the title of CHUTNEY SOCA MONARCH 2011 and the new $2 million prize! But that’s not the juicy part. Maybe Ravi B was drinking some of RIKKI JAI’s “WHITE OAK & WATER” because Ravi TOOK TO THE STAGE AFTER Jai’s win and incited the crowd to violence by telling them to “throw something on the stage” if they were displease with the win.
Even the Prime Minister of Trinidad & Tobago chimed in on the melee calling Ravi B’s actions “MOST unfortunate” and “unnecessary” as read in The Trinidad Express.
Please play nice guys and hopefully the two artistes will kiss and make up!
