Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” finale features famous 7-Up Trinidadian actor – Geoffrey Holder

On NBC tonight, Donald Trump‘s season finale Celebrity Apprentice featured Geoffrey Holder, known best for his “hearty laugh” and vibrant role in the 1970′s advertising campaigns for 7 Up.

The Trinidadian-born actor has been married to his dancer wife Carmen De Lavallade for 56 years! You may also remember him in the 1992 Eddie Murphy movie, “Boomerang” and also for the 1975 Broadway musical “The Wiz,” for which he won the Tony Award for Best Costume Design and Best Direction of a Musical.

According to his Wiki page: “He is a prolific painter, ardent art collector, and performer who has also authored books and composed music. As a choreographer, he has created dance pieces for many companies, including the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and The Dance Theatre of Harlem.”

  2. I loved seeing him on Celebrity Apprentice! He’s got such an extraordinary voice and his laugh is awesome! I was glad Marlee and her team brought him back for the 7up contest he definitely made it his own.
