My TOTD was a short daily encouraging text message that I started sending to my closest contacts over the last four years and now I’ve decided to make it a tad bit longer and post on the site. It is my personal experience and/or opinion, written daily to encourage you, inspired you or to tell you that you are not the only one going through! Enjoy.
JAY’s TOTD: When you feel less inspired to do something, that’s the best time you should!
How many of you dragged yourself to work today?
Or got out of bed when you really wanted to sleep?
I know it can be very hard sometimes, trust me….been there, done that. There are always those times we feel less inspired to get up in the morning, or do some work in the office or work for ourselves.
Time is promised to no one and we need to make use of all the precious time that we have, lest we be taken away tomorrow.
The story of Keisha Nelson (though I do not know her personally) is very tragic. I’m sure she thought that when she left that party in the wee hours of Saturday morning, that she would go home, sleep and spend the rest of the day with her son. She died in a car crash by her drunk driving boy friend (who survived!)
Let’s try to use every waking moment we have, to maximize our opportunites, especially when we really don’t feel like it. Sometimes it is in those moments that miracles and break-throughs happen. Don’t faint.
Get up and get, while you still can!
