Sean Paul is a Grammy winning internationally successful reggae/dancehall artist.

In 200o he released his first album entitled, “Stage One.” His 2002 album “Dutty Rock” sold 6 million copies worldwide. In 2009,  his “Imperial Blaze” album featured the single “So Fine” and it was the first Jamaican album to top the Billboard Rap Charts. Sean Paul has collaborated with mega stars such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Keyshia Cole, Carlos Santana and Sting.

Sean has won American Music Awards, BET Awards, MTV Awards, Grammy Awards, Soul Train Awards, and Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards.

Now, Sean Paul is readying to blaze again! Sean is in the studio working zealously on his new album due later this year. The first single from his upcoming album “Got 2 Luv U” features Alexis Jordan (listen HERE) and was produced by Stargate.

However, for his upcoming album, Atlantic Records has expressed they want something different.

“The company wanted the album with more pop appeal and that gave me the opportunity to work with the kinds of international producers. Stargate, Benny Blanco, and Akon and some others that I’ve always wanted to work with. But I tried to get the pop producers to make dancehall productions from their musical standpoint. And we’ll see the results of that,” said Sean.

In 2011, Sean Paul has even started working on another side of the business — production. His first riddim as a producer entitled Blaze Fia Riddim is now in heavy rotation and features cuts by Elephant Man, Assassin, Future Fambo, Ce’Cile, and several more.
