Rihanna is making her acting debut next year in the film “Battleship” and a new trailer has been released.
The Bajan songstress will play the role of a naval officer in the Peter-Berg directed film that co-stars Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard and Taylor Kitsch.
The movie which opens in theaters May 18, 2012 reportedly cost $200 million to make and is based off the popular board game.
Rihanna previously spoke on her role in the movie. In her description of her character, she said, “She’s really tough, she doesn’t stand for anything… she’s really intelligent, but really bad ass.”
