TRAILER: Will you be watching “LaLa’s Full Court Life?”

LaLa was born Alani Vazquez to Nuyorican (New York/ Puerto Rican) parents in Brooklyn, NY.  She is now the wife of basketballer Carmelo Anthony and they are both proud parents of their 4 year son named Kiyan Carmelo Anthony.

The Louboutin shoe collector recently told the New York Times that she will never appear on VH1’s Basketball Wives because she’s more than just a regular basketball wife following her man’s career.

 “I love Will Smith and Jada Pinkett,” said LaLa aka Mrs. Carmelo Anthony “You see the love, and you can see the support, and they partner on things and produce together. But she has a life, and he has a life.”

In 2008, Lala and Melo partnered together to establish Krossover Productions. Since then they also produced “Tyson,” the highly praised Mike Tyson documentary. Their production company has also co-produced Mrs. Anthony’s reality show on VH1 – La La’s Full Court Wedding which returns on August 22nd with its second season titled,  “La La’s Full Court Life.”

“We want to be ourselves. We want people to say, ‘We want our relationship to be like Melo and La La,” said Lala.
