MUSIC: Denno releases tribute to slain VP Records A&R, Joel Chin.

The tragic news of the senseless killing of VP Records A&R and family member Joel Chin hit the reggae industry hard. Rising reggae artiste, Denno, who considered Joel Chin his mentor, release this tribute in song titled, “Gone Too Soon.”

Denno stated, “The tragic circumstances in which Joel died have hit the industry like a ton of bricks a nd it has affected a lot of people. He contributed a lot to the reggae music industry, and his track record cannot be ignored.” He also added, “Joel was a big part of the music industry, and even though I met him twice, we kept in touch by telephone. He gave me a lot of encouragement as a young artiste in the business, and he was always positive and jovial.”
