No one is above the law, not even a national hero!
Trinidad and Tobago superstar footballer Stern John and attorney Denisha Mayers appeared in Port of Spain Magistrates Court on Monday charged with breaching the curfew.
The two appeared along with Terysa and Terri-ann Humphrey and were all charged with breaching the 11pm national curfew on Saturday, after they were found at French Street, Woodbrook without Curfew Permits.
Each were granted $1,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Marcia Ayers-Caesar and will reappear in court on December 14th, represented by their Attorney Keith Scotland.
John is the 4th highest international goalscorer behind Pelé, Ferenc Puskás and Ali Daei. The 2002 T&T Football Federation Player of the Year was also instrumental in helping T&T qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
