Leaders from Cuba and other Caribbean nations will commemorate Cuba-CARICOM Day on Thursday in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
The occasion will serve as an opportunity to highlight the ongoing strengthening of common links between Cuba and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), whose member nations have now joined, as a decisive force, the recently created Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
The meeting of Caribbean leaders will affirm the links between Cuba and the rest of regional countries.
