Singer, Romain Virgo has recorded a reggae remake of the track, Don’t You Remember Me, originally done by international singer, Adele.
The cover single which was produced by his management team, Vikings Production and was released last week, has already racked up thousands of views on youtube.
Romain says, “The original version of the song is one I love, so when my managers came to me with the idea, I readily did it. After it was recorded and mixed we weren’t quite ready to release it, but it was leaked online and the responses so far have been great.”
Romain, 21, who is known for his hits, Cyaa Sleep, Wanna Go Home, Who Feels It Knows It, Rich In Love, System and others, received rave reviews after his performance at the recent Shaggy and Friends concert. He says, “That was a great experience. I am thrilled at the reception of the audience to the songs, including some of the new ones. The journey has been an amazing one and I couldn’t have done it since 2007 without the help of my fans and my team. So I thank everyone.”
The singer says for his immediate future, fans can look out for him at this weekend’s staging of Rebel Salute at the Port Kaiser Sports Complex, St. Elizabeth and in addition, they can expect his sophomore album to be released in late April.
