Call it “airing family dirty laundry” or “toting feelings” or real Calypso, either way, Lady Gypsy is letting her lyrics flow in her latest rendition, “No Damn Respect.”
The mother of Fay-Ann Lyons and little sister of fellow calypsonian and UNC political member, Winston “Gypsy” Peters, has a lot to say in her new Calypso and is spilling all the beans.
Does she have tawdry motives or did she just need an outlet to tell her story and release her pain?
Listen to Lady Gyspy‘s “No Damn Respect” and tell us what you think?
Maybe this song might be cathartic for her but might further damage her family.
Do you think Lady Gyspy’s song would help build or destroy her family? Leave a comment.

Lady Gypsy the bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life. Family isn’t about whose blood you have. It’s about who you care about and who care for you. Love makes a family not blood.
Go ahead Sister, speak the Truth. According to Maya Angelou,
The truth brings the past into the present and prepares us for the future. That’s what truth does.
