It’s official, the Gully Gad Mavado, real name David Constantine Brooks, got married earlier this month in Florida.
The singjay, ironically with a hit titled, “Settle Down” has indeed done, just that!
Mavado and his management teamhave remained tight-lipped about the marriage, so much so, that they went to extreme lengths to say that rumors were not true. However, we were able to confirm that Brooks and his longtime girlfriend and “baby mudda” Monique McKenzie and now husband and wife!

According to a JAYBLESSED.com source, the marriage at Broward County’s City Hall did happen and the two have been planning for quite some time.
Despite the cloak of secrecy surrounding the nuptials, we wait to see if the two will have a grand wedding like Mavado’s friend and Alliance member, Wayne Marshall.
