Dancehall deejay and self proclaimed Energy Gad – Elephant Man, was granted bail in the sum of $400,000 the following day after being arrested.
CELEB TROUBLE: Elephant Man Charged with Rape!!!
Elephant Man, born Oniel Bryan, appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court yesterday with his attorney Linda Wright by his side to answer charges of a sexual assault and rape incident that allegedly took place at his St Andrew home.
Despite being charged with the rape and grievous sexual assault of a 31-year-old woman, the modestly dressed Elephant Man was quite upbeat and in positive spirits.
He was arrested on Monday and will reappear in court for a preliminary hearing on May 21, however, he will be in court on February 7th to answer the charge of abstracting electricity.
