On March 9th, Caribbean nationals flocked the Best Buy Theater for the first major Soca concert in New York for 2012, KES ALL IN.
Amongst those gathered in the crowd was Kes the Band’s die hard fan, “Empress” (that’s what we will call her).
Well…LORD HAVE MERCY….I saw it when it took place, but I felt the earth shake when it happened.

Not only did she fall on her behind the first time, Kees then made a second attempt at lifting Empress only to have to succumb to the heavy load. It almost looked like Empress “throw wine” in Kees’ face.
Empress, has long professed her love for Kees and the band.
Falling wasn’t an issue for her, she has since took to twitter to further declare her love…even after the unfortunate yet funny tumble.
“So @Kestheband show tonite was remarkable, doh mind i get drop. If is any man wey cud drop meh is KEES! Love u guys…#ilovekesbandjusbcuz”
Such a good sport she continued, “Wat a day wasnt expecting tuh be da talk ah de town. Big up everybody showing me love…i had de time of my life on stage wid @Kestheband!!!”
When I asked her if she was physically okay she responded,” @JAYBLESSED im fine…Dat red man can drop meh ten times on meh ass ah go still love he bad <3 #ilovekesbandjusbcuz”
Kees you might need to stock up on de spinach breds and Empress….you’re a star!!!

hmmmm, i love Kes the band & the music but its time for new material, been watching this “pick up BIG WOMAN ast for the last 3yrs now.Eventually you’ll hurt yourself or that BIG WOMAN and it wont be funny. Just saying.
