Rihanna showed up at the Tokyo Battleship premiere rocking her silk PJs!

No seriously, doesn’t it look like pajamas?

Anyhoo…the pop superstar, who will debut in her first film “Battleship”, walked the red carpet donned in a Emilio Pucci blue and gold pantsuit, with her new jet-black shaven hairstyle.

We’ve been hearing talks for some weeks now about Rihanna rumored as one of the ladies eligible to play musical icon Whitney Houston. Well, RiRi had this to say to the Associated Press this week:

“That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off,” she said to The Press Association. “That’s a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.”

“My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song — ‘I Will Always Love You,’” she continued. “It was really inspiring and it made me develop a passion for music, so really she’s partly responsible for me being here in this industry.”

I love you RiRi….but NO to playing Whitney! *hugs*
