MARLON ASHER: When I did Ganja Farmer 6 yrs ago, it hit hard with people of that party generation. The times or pulse has changed, dancehall is running the radio & clubs, so i decided to sing on a faster riddim…it worked .
JB:What does Marlon Asher do to celebrate 420 day?
MA: Happy you asked! Normally I am where 420 is being celebrated in the correct manner. This year, I am at the High Times Magazine “Medical Canabis Cup” in Denver, Colorado with Barrington Levi and Odd Fellows – Wolfgang. I am a judge at the compition and also performing at the VIP party on Saturday night.
Right now I am tasting Sativa number 1 , 6, 18.
JB: Busy at work I see! LOL When was your first experience blazing?
MA: I blazed my first spliff at 18. I love the herb!
JB: The best weed comes from…
MA: best weed from ….hmmmmm , I have been to Amsterdam, California, Jamaica & Canada many times – Jamaica has very hard ganja , Amsterdam very good, Canada great ganja, but CALIFORNIA!!! I rate them Exotic Highest High.
JB: And for everyone that says weed is bad, you say….
MA: Weed or as we say Medical Marijuana is great for many different illnesses. The list of pros are too long compared to the misunderstandings of the natural herb. Smoke the Heb in moderation. Blessed 420 everyone.
