Although an Iglesias-Lopez bill cannot be confirmed yet, the potential pairing would bring together two latin pop phenoms that enjoyed career revitalizations over the past two years. Last year, Lopez began her run at the judges table on “American Idol” and released seventh studio album “Love?,” which featured the Pitbull-assisted smash “On The Floor” and has sold 318,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Last month, Lopez revealed a new single with Pitbull, “Dance Again,” that may be included on a forthcoming greatest hits album.
Meanwhile, Iglesias’ 2010 album “Euphoria” included the dance hits “I Like It,” “Tonight (I’m Loving You)” and “Dirty Dancer,” and he recently returned to the Hot 100 as a featured artist on Dev‘s “Naked.” After a planned tour alongside Britney Spears failed to form last summer, Iglesias brought Pitbull and Prince Royce on the road for a fall U.S. tour produced by Concerts West/AEG Live.
The tour would be J.Lo’s first full road-trip and is set to kick off in June. No dates have been announced at this time.
