The PM of Jamaica, the Hon Portia Simpson-Miller Miller left the island earlier this week for a number of engagements in New York and Philadelphia in the United States.
The PM was the receipt of the TIME 100 Most Influential Persons Award at a special reception in New York then on Wednesday, she met with Jamaicans in the Diaspora at a special town hall meeting in Brooklyn. The PM will then journey to Philadelphia to attends Penn relays where she will be a special guest of the University of Penn and Team Jamaica Bickle. The Prime Minister will return to the island on Sunday.
