On Tuesday, April 17th, Jay Blessed Media celebrated the 1 year Anniversary of www.jayblessed.com at the very hip and luxurious StudiYo at Yotel in New York.
The milestone event took place against the gorgeous backdrop of the New York City skyline with vibrant energy, a warm ambiance and the many faces of the city’s hottest taste-makers in attendance. The scene of beautiful people networking, delicious cocktails flowing and cameras flashing, proved that the one year anniversary celebration was indeed a success.

Anya Ayoung-Chee spoke during the celebration congratulating Jay on her successes throughout the year. Ayoung-Chee stated that Jay Blessed’s interview with her just days after winning Project Runway, was “one of the most honest, real and meaningful interviews she’s had to date and that she has since developed a”sisterhood” of sorts with Jamie that she feels will last a lifetime.”
At the event Jay Blessed said she felt humbled by the outpouring of love support and from her peers and fans alike.
“It is amazing to see the growth that an idea, a blog, can achieve in one year and the influence we have built and now possess. JayBlessed.com is proud to know that we have made great strides in such a short space of time and in so doing, have not only entertained and kept the diaspora abreast but have also bridged the gap between the islands and the world.”
