In case you missed it, international recording reggae band, Third World, has apologized for disappointing the thousands of fans who turned up at Farley Hill National Park for the Barbados Reggae Festival’s climax last Sunday.
Bassist Richard Daley apologized in a Press statement while the band’s publicist Stacey Bethel reiterated the group’s futile efforts to get a connecting flight after missing one out of Miami.
The bass player said Third World had performed at a sporting event the night before and head straight to the airport after. However they were unable to catch a flight to the Eastern Caribbean island.
“We were extremely disappointed that our fans did not get to see us perform. This is something that has never happened to us before, and we will ensure it doesn’t again,” Daley stated in the Stabroek News.
The group were slated to perform on the final night at Farley Hill National Park.
