Natural Black’s explanation of why he cut his locks and his belief of Rastafarianism is rather confusing…very confusing.
In the interview, Natural Black gets “in depth” on what he believes, cutting his locks to be successful in the music industry and his life in Guyana before he moved to Jamaica.

De man free to cut his locks, that’s what free people do – I don’t think that should have any impact or relation to his musical career. Also, speaking as a Ras, its never a bad thing when a bredrin/sistrin cut their locks because generally it goes to show that they didnt have a full Iverstanding of what they were doing in the first place, so its better they trim instead on continuing to live/look as a Ras and confuse ppl
