Undoubtedly one of T&T’s most recognized and talented R&B artistes, Jason ‘Fridge’ Seecharan (of H2O Phlo) recently released his debut solo album entitled ‘Just A Cool Scene’.
Although still a member of H2O Phlo, and affirming that the group is going strong and currently working on new material, Fridge indicated that this album is geared specifically towards his fans. “I will always be a part of H2O Phlo, but this album is me expressing myself as an individual and an artiste,” he said.
As the title implies, ‘Just A Cool Scene‘ is simply that… a cool, easy listening vibe. Comprised mainly of R&B and Reggae , there is also a healthy infusion of other genres such as Soca, Dance and Hip Hop. With features by artistes such as Clifford Charles, Stephen Marcelle, Tim Starr, Flipo, VMAX and of course H2O Phlo, there’s something on there for everyone.
The first single off the album entitled ‘Give Thanks’ was released to great reviews.
“I have a lot to be thankful for, and what better single to release first than one giving thanks to the father for life’s blessings,” Fridge insisted.
The song’s message is a simple one and the accompanying video directed by WizzKydd and Tim Starr is reflective of the simple everyday things in life that we should all be thankful for.
