Nicki Minaj has lashed out at celebrity blogger Perez Hilton for publishing a “misleading” report online, which suggested that one of her back-up dancers had been arrested for the murder of a fan in Japan.
Irish student Nicola Furlong was found dead in her Tokyo hotel room on May 25, just hours after she had watched the Super Bass hitmaker perform live the previous evening.
Super blogger Perez Hilton ran a story with the libelous headline, “Nicki Minaj’s Backup Dancer Arrested As Suspect In Murder Case!”
According to the blogger, one of “Minaj’s backup dancers has been arrested on suspicion of rape AND murder!!!”
Perez then recounts the horrific story about how a 21-year-old Irish student, Furlong, attended Minaj’s concert in Tokyo last week, was “found dead the next morning.

Minaj has slammed the allegations, insisting no one in her entourage has been questioned or arrested over the incident. The star has also taken aim at Hilton for wrongly identifying the man in the picture as her dancer.
In a series of angry Twitter.com posts directed at Hilton, she writes, “my dancers had nothing to do w/ (with) this tragedy. No one in my entourage was questioned or arrested. They all flew home from Japan.”
Perez Hilton has sinced removed the story from his website.
