
Hundreds of mourners turned up to the Co-Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Basseterre (Catholic Church) for the home-going service of Kevin Kurt Donovan, known as Masud Sadiki in the entertainment world.
Donovan, a popular entertainer, died May 21st at the age of 37, leaving behind his wife Charmaine Donovan, their two children, his parents Ingrid Williams-Rawlins and father Epolite Donovan, two brothers, two sisters, numerous relatives, friends as fans around the world.

Donovan’s death was ruled a suicide, a shocking blow to those who knew him to be full of life, extremely positive and cheerful.

As a singer/songwriter Donovan, as Masud or Stitch In Time, had garnered much acclaim for his uplifting music, having thrilled fans since his high school years. Just prior to his death, Donovan was announced as one of a select number of local artistes scheduled to perform at the June 28-30th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival.
Even as fans gathered to say their final goodbyes many still struggle to come to terms with his death.



The thanksgiving service began at 1 pm; interment will follow at the Springfield Cemetery.
