In case you missed it, former American Idol winner, Fantasia Barrino, performed in Trinidad for her birthday concert on June 30th.
During the the festivities held at the Ambassadors House in Port of Spain, Fanny got a bit emotional, breaking down during her rendition of “Even Angels.”
The audience was left speechless at how emotional Fantasia got. I’m emotional now just writing this.
Her breakdown supposedly came at the thought of how easily it is for loved ones to just leave us, whether through death or otherwise. Somewhere between singing and crying, Fantasia took time out to thank God for the strength he’s given her over the years and most importantly through trying times.
“No matter what you’ve been through, know that you can fly. I have to tell God thank you because he has blessed me. Just when I thought it was all over, he kept blessing me,” she told fans. “He’s always been there. I made it through because of God. Everything I went through is my testimony.”
Over the past few years Fantasia has been struggling with a lot including money issues and man drama plus she’s yet to get over Whitney Houston’s death. I hope she continues to stay strong in all that may come her way.
Celebrities go through a lot, while some might hide it; others like Fantasia show us that they too are humans. Stay strong Fantasia!
Fantasia recently gave birth to her second child, Dallas Xavier Barrino, fathered by a married Antwaun Cook.
