SHEMMY’S LIST: This week…. 5 Sexy Caribbean Male Artiste Under 30!

Hey peeps, so I am starting a weekly feature showcasing a random list on Caribbean music, fashion, destinations, artiste, athletes and much more.

This week, my personal SHEMMY’S LIST features FIVE yummy Caribbean male artistes under 30…did yours make the list?

1. Christopher Martin, born on the most romantic day of the year, February 14, 1987 is a Jamaican singer/songwriter. Chris Martin, as he is popularly known, won the Digicel Rising Stars competition in 2005 and has blossomed ever since. 2. Konshens, real name Garfield Spence, is one of Jamaica’s hottest dancehall artistes. Konshens’ hottest hits includes “Winner”, “Good Girl Gone Bad”, “Gal Dem A Talk”, “Realest Song”, “Do Sumn”, “Bounce Like A Ball”, “Gal Them A Talk” and his mega hit “Gal A Bubble.” Konshens burst unto the scene in 2005 with his single “Pon Di Corner,” which was a major hit in Japan. 3. K.I – Trinidad and Tobago’s most talented crossover artiste. K.I, whose real name is Kris Veeshal Persad, is one of the best soca and chutney artistes on the island. His passion led him to be the youngest to claim the title of Trinidad’s 2012 Chutney Soca Monarch crown with his song “Single Forever.” For more information on K.I read HERE.

4. Konata Alleyne – I bet you’ve probably never heard of this Trinidadian born UK based singer? This 28 year old is much more than just a singer, added to his portfolio is songwriter, producer, audio engineer, entertainer, musician, promoter and entrepreneur. Konata re-launched his singing career in 2010 with the release of his hot sexy party Carnival track ‘Pressure on Me’. Read more about this yummy Caribbean lad HERE. 5. Jaicko Lawrence is a Barbadian contemporary pop music singer and songwriter who is currently signed to Capitol Records. This 21 year old was born in Christ Church, Barbados but presently he resides in New York. In 2008, he was nominated for six Barbados Music Awards, including Best Pop Single, Pop/R&B Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Album of the Year. His entrance single was called “Oh Yeah”; the remix version which featured American rapper Snoop Dogg reached #77 on the Canadian Hot 100.
