On July 4 as part of America’s Independence celebration, Lauryn Hill delivered an amazing performance at the annual Wawa Welcome America concert in Philadelphia.
This was her first performance since pleading guilty to tax evasion. Despite possible jail time knocking at her door, Lauryn was stunning both in performance and attire as she belted out some of her classic hits.
Lauryn’s act was the surprise closing performance. After the event she was later seen mingling with other celebrities, including Queen Latifah and Common.
Later, on July 7, Lauryn preformed AGAIN with Nas in Switzerland at the Openair Frauenfeld festival. The Queens-bred rap star invited Lauryn on stage with him to perform their duet “If I Ruled the World”….nice!!!
