Crop Over is to Barbados what Carnival is to Trinidad.

It’s not too late to book your ticket to Barbados for its 2012 Crop Over celebrations. Dubbed the “sweetest summer festival” Crop Over is a festival that pays homage to Barbados’ rich past and culture.

Crop Over is not just about the merriment, but like most celebrations, the festival brings together the young and the old alike.

The official festivals commenced on June 30, 2012 and will culminate with the splendid road parade, Grand Kadooment on August, 6, 2012.

Activities include Soca Monarch, Calypso Monarch and Pan competitions, visual arts displays, Bridgetown Market, Gospel concerts, Heritage Feast, Crop Over Awards and much much more Soca and Calypso competitions.
