The Norman Manley International Airport was a sea of celebrations as many Jamaicans converged to welcome home renowned Jamaican Grammy winning artiste, Shabba Ranks.
Shabba Ranks, real name Rexton Gordon, was greeted with flags and much fanfare. His mother, who hasn’t seen him in over four years, was very overwhelmed.

Shabba is also very ecstatic to be at home. He is at home with his wife and two sons.
“It’s always great fi deh inna mi island because, as mi bigger brother seh, when you check it out, nowhere nuh better than yard. This is the land of my birth, this is Jamaica, the land of my birth. Nuh matta wha gwaan, no matter how mi travel the world, nuh matter wha mi do inna the world, mi age paper mark Sturge Town, St Ann,” stated Shabba.
Shabba Ranks is in Jamaica for Reggae Sumfest. He lasted performed at Sumfest in 1994.

Why hasn’t he seen his mother in 4 years??? Was he in prison why hasn’t he been back to Jamaica until now???
