According to reliable JayBlessed.com sources, King of the Dancehall – Beenie Man and Trinidadian cricketer – Dwayne Bravo, were give the cold shoulder by a club in Trinidad.

Apparently, Beenie and Bravo are some of the celebrities that frequent the Trinidadian hotspot 51 Degrees, however, the duo were braced from entering the club last Friday night!

“They’re used to waltzing in anytime like the major celebs they are in T&T but officially they were on former manger Stephen Marhue’s list,” said our reliable source.

Stephen Marhue, the General Manager of 51 Degrees has officially left 51 – we are uncertain whether he resigned or was fired, however, all of the folks that were on his “celebrity” all access list are now being turned away. That list includes Beenie Man and Bravo.

We are hearing rumblings about 51 Degrees and Club Zen, where Marhue is Chief Executive, as rumors circulate that the latter club is said to be folding??? Not sure about these rumors…..just thought you should know.

Anyhoo…after being shut down by club bouncers, Beenie & Bravo avoided the Avenue and instead took their celebrity and dollar bills to “Dungeon.”

51 – that’s how you guys do over there? Not nice!

  1. 51 Degrees is a racist club. They turn away people base on the color of your skin, i know that for a fact.

  2. Jay Bless, I am confused as to whether this is a gossip site trying to pass as legitimate reporting as you obviously have your “facts” wrong. A word of advice, fire your “reliable sources”. Your source or yourself, is obviously trying to give 51 a bad rep by attempting to create drama where there is none with regard to Mr. Marhue’s move to Club Zen.

@ Shairoon, obviously you haven’t actually been IN 51 to see the diversity of people who frequent the club thereby making your comment “your opinion” rather than “fact”.

    • Joshua you sound like 51′s rep. Lmao!

    • I honestly never had a problem with this “Race” or skin color issue. Even my friends who i go with who are africans NEVER had a problem. So im not sure what other people are gettin at.

  3. 51 isnt really racist , however the club is somewhat of a pappy show club
e.g : having people line up for no apparent reason , turning away guys in V neck tops … even if the Top is very expensive and the gentleman is properly attired , they are still denied entry .

51 i can understand ‘ Dress code in effect ” however some of ur rules are ridiculous
