In case you missed it….
For the seventh time in the pageants 51 year history, a Dominican was crowned Miss Jaycees. Nadira Lando, the reigning Miss Dominica and Miss Caribbean World , was on Friday night (Aug. 3) crowned by 2011 Miss Jaycees Iantavian Queely of St. Kitts.
Lando, a descendant of Dominica’s indigenous people, the Kalinago captured the Best Modeling in the evening wear segment and Miss Photogenic categories.

First runner-up position went to Miss St Kitts & Nevis Kailah Huggins while Miss St. Lucia , Roxanne Nicholas, who won Best Swimwear and Best Talent got second runner-up. Miss St. Lucia is also the reigning Miss Carival.
Anguilla’s Olufunmike Devonish won Miss Congeniality.
