One hundred and sixteen ladies from around the world are competing in the Miss World 2012 pageant, sixteen of these ladies are now finalists in the Talent competition, with four originating from the Caribbean.

The young Caribbean queens fortunate enough to be in the Talent finals are :

Deanna Robins, Jamaica, performing modern and contemporary dance to Bob Marley’s Redemption Song.

Markysa O’Loughlin, St. Kitts & Nevis, set to share the calypso of  the islands calypsonian, King Ellie Matt with a steel pan rendition of a calypso song called Viva St Kitts.

Stephanie Chang, Curacao, with a special flamenco dance. Flamenco dancing is a dance that originated in Spain.

Taiesa Lashley, US Virgin Islands,  is sure to bring the house down with her musical rendition of Adele’s “Someone Like You.”

Good luck to the girls as they compete in the finals today, Wednesday, August 8, 2012 and in the final Miss World competition on Saturday, August 18, 2012.
