Nicki Minaj Announces Make-Up Date in New York City For No-Show at HOT97 Summer Jam

Nicki Minaj knows how to get back “Your Love.”

The Queens-raised singer who disappointed many fans in June after her infamous no-show as headliner of Hot 97′s Summer Jam concert at the MetLife Stadium back in June, will make good to her fans by holding a free concert August 14 in at a secret location in New York, the genre-crossing rapper tweeted.

“Hey barbz, I’m happy to announce my #Free #pinkfridaytour show in #NewYork is going down on aug14th. (This is in ADDITION 2 the Today show),” Nicki Minaj tweeted.

“I’m gonna push the time to line up @ the venue back a bit so u guys don’t have to miss the Today show,” Nicki Minaj added.

“We are excited to offer the first 1,500 fans the opportunity to attend the show,” the website linked from her Twitter profile read. “You must line-up at the venue no earlier than 12 noon at the secret location. The first 1,500 fans in line will receive wrist bands, that will guarantee access to the event.

Tickets will also be given away via radio promotions on a number of local New York radio stations.

Pepsi.com will be streaming the concert live and also Nicki Minaj Twitter fan page.
