Just a couple more days before the Miss World 2012 pageant in Ordos, China and competitions are intensifying.

Miss Jamaica, Deanna Robins, is a fierce and determined contestant in the pageant this year. She is a top finalist in all of the competitions thus far. After strutting her stuff in the catwalk parade of the Top Model competition she found herself in the top 10. After a series of beach photo shoots she is now in the finals of the Beach Fashion competition.

Her excellent performance in the Talent Show competition has landed her into the finals of that competition. Her talent piece, a dance is done to Bob Marley’s ‘Redemption Song’. Robins is currently the 2nd runner up in the Sports and Fitness competition after competing in six sport events – shuttle run, long jump, penalty shoot out, 100 meter sprint, relay race and swimming.

Miss Jamaica is definitely on her way to bringing the crown to the Caribbean. Jamaica has won three Miss World titles to date.

Best wishes to Robins as she competes in the Miss World Pageant on Saturday, August 18, 2012.
