Rihanna has reportedly worried friends with her drinking habits and they fear she is “overdoing” it.
Reports claim the 24-year-old singer has been drinking hard for almost a year and her friends even feared she would have to go to rehab to tame her partying lifestyle. While Rihanna has taken more than a month off work to relax in Cannes and her hometown of Barbados, friends say she hasn’t been able to put the drink down and they fear she is burning herself out again.

“She cannot put a drink down. Even when she’s in the sea on a surfboard, she’s got a beer,” a source close to the singer told the Daily Star.
“You really don’t see her go without a drink on any day of the week, ever. There was a point when all her mates thought she was within hours of going into rehab.”

In addition to her partying lifestyle, those close to her fear her intense workload isn’t helping matters.
“She never has a break between albums. Her singles come out at such a fast pace. She is always filming a video or doing a new photoshoot. She is so hardworking.”
Despite the supposed calls for concern, Rihanna’s friend, designer Henry Holland, says: “She is totally in control.”
Plus Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts has even slammed the reports that Rihanna is on a path of self-destruction.
“I don’t know about any of that [reports of Rihanna's struggles] but I just know that when I was working with her she was lovely and she was really collected, really together,” said 26-year-old Nicola teamed up with the Bajan songstress for new SKY show, Styled To Rock.
