Tobago’s very own McCartha Linda Sandy-Lewis, internationally known as Calypso Rose, created a truly Caribbean environment during her performances at the Edmonton’s Folk Music Festival at Gallagher Park last weekend.
The Calypso Queen of the World has not lost her ability to command a crowd and her movements are still and will forever be on point.
Calypso Rose is currently on her Canadian tour with the Toronto-based band Sound Revolution. The six members of the band originate from Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, Dominica and Guyana.

The patrons at Gallagher Park surely enjoyed every bit of her performance and we are very proud of how far she has taken Calypso and Tobago!
