Vybz Kartel, real name Adidjah Palmer, has been further remanded whilst his friends, Vanessa Sandler, commonly known as Gaza Slim and Andre Henry (Pim Pim) had their bail extended last week.
The trio appeared in court on Thursday but the the trial was postponed because of the absence of the presiding judge and the non-disclosure of statements to the defense.
Kartel and his sidekicks have been asked to return to court in November 12, at the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court, where they will answer to charges of perverting the course of justice.
Last October, it is alleged that Pim Pim assisted Gaza Slim also known as Vanessa Bling with a report she made to the Constant Spring Police. She reported that she had been robbed by Clive Williams after Kartel was arrested for his murder. It is believed that the duo fabricated to story to lead persons to believe that Williams was not dead.
Calvin ‘Moonie’ Haye, deejay Shawn Storm, and Cairo Jones are also charged with Williams’ death.
Vybz Kartel has been behind bars since October 1st, 2011!
Things are not looking too bright for the Gaza Squad!
