Ronald Oates, the allegedly mastermind behind the “Jamaican Girls Exposed” x-rated website will return to court on September 18.
Oates was arrested for posting nude photos and sexual videos of women on the internet and attempting to extort money from the victims to remove the pictures.
The twenty-seven-year-old was remanded in custody when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court in late August, to answer to several charges under the cyber-crimes act and the larceny act.
Oates was nabbed by police at his home where they seized several computers, mobile phones, wireless modems, flash drives amongst other items. Oates’ lawyer, Zara Lewis, made a bail application on his behalf, however, the judge had granted an additional two weeks for the investigator to complete his work.
