While the world is abuzz about Wyclef’s memoir ”Purpose: An Immigrant’s Story,” fellow friend and latin superstar Carlos Santana is ready to shake the literary world with a memoir of his own!
The Grammy-winning superstar has an agreement with Little, Brown and Company to tell his life story. The publisher, a division of Hachette Book Group, recently announced that the book is scheduled for release in 2014.
It doesn’t yet have a title.
The 65-year-old Santana is expected to tell stories of such friends and peers as Miles Davis, Eric Clapton and Herbie Hancock. However, we are sure their will be enough juice of his rock star life to keep the pages turning.
In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine listed Santana at number 15 on their list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. Santana has won 15 Grammys and is best known for the album “Supernatural,” which has sold more than 25 million copies.
