So…shit literally hit the fan yesterday when international reggae / dancehall superstar Mr. Vegas decided to air out his dirty laundry to the world on his social media outlets.
The Jamaican artiste, who had been posting a series of cryptic messages to his daughter in previous days, finally let the dam break when he could no longer hold in his pain…creating a PR’s worst nightmare!
SIDEBAR: Who is his publicist anyway???? They should be fired asap!
Mr. Vegas, born Clifford Smith, used his social media platforms to call out his “baby mother” who allegedly videotaped herself having sex with a man in Vegas’ home, without a condom.
If the sex in his home wasn’t disrespectful enough, the baby mother who committed the act, two days before his 37th birthday, was walked in on by her 1 year old baby….in the act….all caught on tape.
Now, it took me a while to gather myself to post this because I said I would not post people’s marital affairs or anything in regards to their children but this is one I had to discuss. Mostly because it was given to me on a silver platter with continuous servings for me and THE WORLD!
Not only did Shellian McBayne cheat on her common law husband of four years in his home, she allegedly stole money from the artiste.
Talk about trust out the window…enough to make even the sanest person go crazy!

Here is where things turned for the worse….
There’s always three sides to a story. So while some try to get to the bottom of the truth, here’s what Shelly posted on her facebook:
Now it seems like Mr. Vegas might have gotten what he deserved according to Shelly but I do believe that this personal drama should have been kept off facebook! Don’t you?

Women tend to take “horn” (cheating) very well but men not so much. It is understood that when in a relationship with someone, infidelity might be a possibility. When in a relationship with someone in the entertainment industry, cheating is the norm. The assumption here is that Shelly had enough of her share and did what she felt was necessary – pushing Vegas off the deep end.
But let’s flip this scenario, everyone is coming down on Vegas for blasting Shelly but what if the tables were turned and she found him in their home, having unprotected sex on their bed, in front of their child? Would we react the same?
But what about the baby?
What about the tape?
Let’s hope these two can resolve this quickly and that tape be kept off the internet.
This is the time Vegas needs his real friends to step in a protect from himself and literally CLEAN UP HOUSE!
No one likes their personal business being on public display…….or maybe some people do.
We are sure somewhere in the world Red Rat is singing this song….
I can’t even begin to imagine what this man is going through but I’m sure many of us can relate to the feelings of hurt, betrayal, confusion and not even wanting to live anymore!
Surely we can understand that different people react differently. So as much as people are upset (like I am) that he chose social media to vent, we should be happy that he didn’t do anything worse….being burnt and a broken heart can make you do some crazy things! Ah lie???
But at least Vegas is trying to see the bright side….while writing this story he posted yet ANOTHER status to facebook fanpage:

In the meantime…couples should really start having open and honest dialogue and not playing games with each other’s hearts and lives!

My heart & prayers go out to the little one mixed up in all of this. I pray that neither parent takes this out on her as she deserves none of it. Cheating is never the solution.

As a woman I’ve had my few instances of heartache, nothing of this magnitude but those who feel it know it. Clearly he has done his share of dirt but if she CHOSE to stay through all the infidelity, for her to now say she gon dash out she pumpum as a means to get back at him – makes her look like a woman with little to no character. I’m not saying he’s some angel cause clearly ‘do so doh like so’ but if in fact there is a tape with her screwing in the child’s presence, she brought this reaction on herself. And if in fact she did steal from him, she lucky is only cuss she get!
I don’t agree with filing for sole custody as this may (or may not) be one lapse in judgement on her part – it doesn’t make her a bad mother. A trollop, yes, but if anything I hope when he calms down he thinks things through and goes for joint custody. Cause I only see things getting a million times worse if he tried to take Ms.McBayne’s child away.

Why di artiste give up control a d situation if his child being abused n he have no legal rights? If she was still at his house he could still hav access to his daughter… why kick her out? Something no mek sense…

I was like you all saying he is wicked, but he has a case for sexual misconduct against d baby mother, the site that released d pics shows pic of the baby in d room while mama doing gangnam style, she repeatedly took d baby out of d room after she wandered in watching them, the last time she continued to ride till they reached their destination while the child watched 12 minutes.
Child was actually alone in d room wit the nakedman who didnt bother to coverup at seeing d baby n had his privates out.
