On Saturday 27 October 2012, the international Soca family will gather in the United Kingdom for the 2012 Soca News Soca Music Awards.

The UK Soca Music Awards brings together, in recognition, the pioneers and the artists of soca and calypso, saluting and acknowledging the hard working producers, writers, arrangers, performers and other relevant industry figures, who have all made significant contributions to the growth of the genre.

Soca News feels strongly about showcasing UK-based talent, and as a leading publication within the arena their goal is to always break ground when it comes to promoting soca music and Caribbean culture in the UK.
