Leading Caribbean media and entertainment company TEMPO Networks kicked off its seventh anniversary by promoting the Caribbean’s vacation attributes to millions of potential consumers.
It is partnering with Cablevision, one of the top media and telecommunications companies in the United States, to offer its 1.5 million Optimum customers a chance to win a vacation of a lifetime.
The Cable giant and TEMPO are partnering on a Caribbean Sweepstakes, enabling Cablevision’s Optimum Rewards loyalty members to win a week-long trip to Dutch St. Maarten in the Caribbean.
Since the recent launch of the promotion, more than 100,000 Optimum customers have already entered to win the vacation which includes round-trip airfare, a six-night stay for four at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino along with a number of bonus attractions and island experiences.
“Our Tempo Turns 7 celebrations are aimed at rewarding our loyal viewers, fans and partners,” said Frederick A. Morton, Jr., Founder, Chairman and CEO of TEMPO Networks, who noted the sweepstakes are being promoted via 600 weekly ads in 33 markets across major networks, including Bravo, Food Network and Travel Channel.
“The value of the promotion is more than US $2.5 million which demonstrates the extraordinary returns on investment that Caribbean destinations can yield when we are able to work strategically together and engage the resources to create these opportunities.” Morton added.
Reflecting on the past seven years, the St. Croix-born Morton said: “By the grace of God and with the amazing support of the Caribbean we have come a long away, but we have no plans to rest on our laurels.”
He added that the network will make several announcements in the months ahead to increase its footprint as well as to promote Caribbean culture to regional and international audiences.
“It is our mission to instill confidence and Caribbean pride as well as to play a lead role in branding the Caribbean extra-regionally.”
The anniversary celebrations revolve around destination St. Maarten, and include a number of cultural activities and concerts from November 25 to December 1, 2012.
