A minor incident played off this past Monday for the Brit Jam Music Festival in Jamaica.

Here’s how i heard it: Mavado was performing and called on his buddy Drake to join him on stage. Now…all promoters in the Caribbean know that Police in the islands are very strict about obscene language being used during performances. Well, even though Drake was forewarned, he decided to flex his bad man side by cussing in patois on stage. According to Miss Info, “Drake broke the law by saying “blood clot” which is considered an offensive curse word in Jamaica.” Though he was suppose to perform, he messed it up cussing and had to…

I was surfing online and came across the video of the “Follow Di Arrow” show held at James Bond Beach in St. Mary, Jamaica back in February.

Apparently this event was supposed to be a Dance hall showdown, but turn out to be a bottle, stone and gunshot throw down with Bounty Killer and his dancers being hit by stones.

According to my friends over at OutARoad.com: “The Dancehall Hero Vybz Kartel also got a similar treatment when he decided to save the day.

Several gunshots were also fired during the melee…However, there were no reports of any being shot.”

Well last year, either Rodney LeBlanc really showed his bad man side or a jumbie was definitely his back.

He was arrested  for assault and obscene language against a police officer. He got heat behind the use of melody from Singing Diane’s 1979 song “You Gotta Give Away”. He still has the pending assault case along with Machel Montano and company: stemming from the Zen fight back in 2007 He got into a car accident on Boxing Day 2010 but manage to escape unscathed!

Maybe he took a bush bath or just simply decided to steer clear of the drama and stick to his music because with 2010 behind, 2011 is shining…

I remember when someone called you WOTLESS you were forced to hang your head in shame. Now it is like a badge of honor as KES THE BAND has made the song WOTLESS the biggest Soca hit for Carnival 2011. Everyone from your neighbor, to your parents to members of Parliament to people that don’t even know what the word means, are shouting at the top of their lungs in total WOTLESSNESS and they don’t care what we say!
